A rookie reporter, Josie Geller (Drew Barrymore) goes undercover and pose as a high school student who herself had a shitty high school back in her time. Things take turn for worse when similar stuff happen to her yet again. Enters, hot younger sibling for the rescue, Rob Geller (David Arquette) who poses as a high school kid to help his sister to become popular. Twist comes when Joise falls for her teacher and is coerced by her boss to do the story on the closeness between her (as a student) and the said teacher.

If you thought David Arquette would be able to turn the Friends magic on, well, sorry to disappoint; ‘Friends’ connection stops at the word ‘Geller’. The movie didn’t particularly connected with me and neither drew me in. Drew Barrymore, was at times annoying and the awkwardness in her character was exaggerated. However, Sam coulson (portraying the teacher’s character) is a breath of fresh air and gives hope of things to get better, although they don’t except maybe in the last 20 minutes.
